Every Saturday we have a high-level scrimmage against a local club team, the Killjoys.
It's always a good experience to practice new offensive sets and practice defensive strategies in high-intensity situations that are low-risk. It's great. After this last Saturday's scrimmage, I felt some aching in my knee, that turned into debilitating pain. I have pain on the lateral side of my knee. It hurts especially while walking down stairs. One thing makes me not worried about my injury; Lack of swelling. Most major knee injuries including Meniscus tears are also accompanied by large swelling of the knee. I have very little/no swelling. I'm not too worried about it. Unfortunately, I am going to have to take some time off of workouts, etc... (Maybe a week) in order to rehab my knee. It sucks, but has to be done. I am going to be starting my in-season weight lifting and throwing schedule soon, so I will be posting that in the next week.
